Caribbean: Pirates Raid Falmouth Port ....

With HMS Prince Albert patrolling the shipping lanes, Red Jack and his pirates are finding pickings slim; in order to top-up their supplies a raid is planned on Falmouth Port on the island of Jumeida.
---oXo---

A sleepy day at Falmouth Port, the locals go about their business
Red Jack and his  pirates land on the other side of the headland ..
The pirates cut through the jungle and move out into the farmland ...
As they clear the farmsteads they take a couple of captives ....
The pirates move into the port, the locals run for safety to the fort ...
The pirates start rooting through the warehouses for useful supplies to take away ....
A small herd of cows is rounded up by the pirates, (a nice roast for them tonight)
Some of the locals have armed themselves and make a stand at the end of the quay to hold of the pirates to protect the civilians, their accurate fire fells a few pirates ...
The civilians arrrive at the fort, the commander tries to assess the situation on the quay ....
Part of the garrison moves up to join the fight at the end of the quay ....
The pirates start to load up supplies into a wagon ....
The garrison re-inforces the locals, the pirates waiver ...
Some of the pirates have loaded supplies onto a small boat and make to leave the harbour, the commander of the fot order the guns to fire on the boat but they miss ...
Volley fire from the garrison troops clears the quay of pirates ...
While the garrison troops secure the warehouses at the far end of the quay, the locals with some help from mounted troops mop up the pirates ...
The pirates load up their booty and make a getaway (back to their ship) ...

I succumbed and bought a few palm trees to add to my scenics from www.themodeltreeshop.co.uk, They are really nice, good for singles to spot around amongst the plastic cheepies and they don't look too out of place.
