Smaller ships for Pirate games .....

Have finally managed to finish off two smaller ships for use in pirate games; these were a couple of toy ships I picked up cheaply - they have been modified slightly with masts re-positioned, repainted and some new sails made from 120g paper.

The Nawab of Tandoori

The Nawab of Tandoori is informed that the french man de Lally has arrived ...

de Lally and his aide are admitted to the presence of the Nawab ..

Carribean: Small ships (for pirates and other uses)...WIP

I've had a couple of small toy ships waiting in the project pile for a while; I've dug them out and hacked them about and made them into single mast ships with new decks made from scribed cardboard where needed; below is a shot of the two after the main bash trying out how they look with some cannons.

Carribean: 61st Foot

Some Old Glory british used to form the 61st Foot, this regiment served in the Carribean

 They could also be used for India to represent the 79th which had same facing colour.

India: The Bhaji of Bhovindi

The Bhaji of Bhovindi had a busy day dealing with affairs of state including a rather tiresome visit by the french man Count de Lally asking for his support against the british. The Bhaji dismissed him politely (he'd already signed a treaty with the british). So the Bhaji decided to wind down and went out into his private garden to relax with a couple of young ladies .....

Finished painting the Indus Miniatures artillery and crew; these are lovely figures and I enjoyed painting them

Still working on this, but coming along slowly. Have been recently looking through what I've got so far and touching up some of the painting I did.
