    Can you imagine wearing that uniform in the heat and humidity?! Yike! And I agree with A.W.--fine looking unit.

      generally the European troops in India would not have worn the full uniform - most likely no waistcoat, gaiters or socks - their coats would be local thinner material died to a closest match and maybe alternative cooler headgear
